The Vapor is a touchscreen smartwatch that tracks your fitness, sleep and your heart rate as well – something that hasn’t been done on any other Misfit device so far.
It features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display offering up 326 pixels-per-inch, giving you a clear screen to look at your fitness stats.
The Vapor is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset and features both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as 4GB of onboard memory for music.
An accelerometer, altimeter, gyroscope, optical heart rate sensor, GPS and a microphone are all packed inside. Misfit also claims this device will work well without a phone, so you can use it just with a pair of headphones.
Around the rim of the Vapor there’s an interactive bezel, which offers up a selection of watch faces and applications designed by Misfit.
Your notifications or other apps will come through to the bezel of the watch, so you don’t need to block the screen to check your stats.
Misfit claims the wearable offers two full days of battery life and it charges with a magnetic cradle included in the box.
Sticking to its fashion-focused roots, the Misfit Vapor is an attractive looking device with a 44mm stainless steel casing, available in either Jet Black or Rose Gold.
As for pricing, the Misfit Vapor will cost $199 (about £160, AU$275), though it’s not clear how much it’ll officially cost in the UK or Australia.
A firm release date currently isn’t clear either, with Misfit stating “the Vapor will be available for purchase later this year.”
